Ghorepani Ghandrung Trek

The trek to Ghorepani - Poon Hill (Pun Hill)is truly called the best of the trekking in Nepal. The trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming villages inhabited particularly by the Gurungs and Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline.

Visa & Immigration

Nepal visas are required to all nationals, except Indian Passport Holders. You can get your Nepal visa prior to your arrival from Nepalese Embassies and consulates overseas. If you are traveling to Nepal by land, Nepal Immigration offices are open to all travelers. A valid passport and a passport-size photo with a light background required.

If you are flying to Kathmandu you can easily obtain your visa to Nepal on arrival, you must fill in an application form before immigration counter at one of the automatic registration machines, which will also take your digital photos.
