In Bhutan, we shall combine the exploration of Bhutan’s cultural heritage with the exceptional Druk Path Trek. Visiting the renowned Tiger’s Nest Monastery, we embark on our trek from Jangchu Lakha. To the highest points in the country, this trek touches a remarkable range of environs and thrilling trails with classic views of the soaring peaks of Mount Gangkar Puensum standing tall at (7570m/24835ft ).
This trek is followed by a tour of the capital and then a beautiful short hike will take us to Lungchutse Monastery and to a place that brings you fascinating views accessible nowhere else. Mountains like Jhomolhari, Kang Bum and Gangchhenta can be seen across the stark, vast stretch of Bhutan’s mystical wilderness that concludes this cultural yet adventurous trip.
