Day by Day

  • Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu [1300m]

    • The bustle of Kathmandu Valley is evident as you fly into Tribhuvan International Airport, with Kathmandu stretching into the Himalayan mountains on the horizon. Arrive in Katmandu, assistance upon arrival and transfer to Hotel. Briefing about the Program.
      After Lunch: Explore vibrant and eclectic Kathmandu, artistically rich with an ancient cultural heritage that is full of fascinating sights. Visit the living goddess Kumari Devi. Visit Swoyambunath Stupa which is said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the World, majestically set high on a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. It is nicknamed “the monkey temple” after the tribe of monkeys that look after the hill and often amuses the visitors.
      In the evening you can enjoy a folk music concert at the medieval palace of Patan performed by “Kutumba”. Traditional Nepali folk music will be played on instruments using traditional eastern instruments. The power of Nepali folk music is overwhelming and has the capability to transform one mood into another. An hour long concert will provide you a perfect opportunity to enjoy Nepali folk music and at the same time allow its soothing effect on your senses. Overnight at Hotel.
  • Day 02 Kathmandu to Chitwan - Rafting in Trishuli River on the way 170 kms.

    • After Breakfast at Hotel: Drive approximately 3 hours to Charaundi [a small rafting starting point], during the drive you will catch a view of the diversity of demography, great landscapes, cultural heritages, the beautiful Trishuli river and its beaches.

      Rafting in Trishuli River offers excellent views of mountain scenery, small gorges, and exciting rapids along with river sand beaches. After 4 hours of exciting rafting experience, continue the drive to Chitwan National Park. Overnight at Hotel.

      In the evening: a slide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park, as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Dinner will be in the central dining hall. Overnight at Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge.

      Chitwan National Park is located approximately 150 kilometers from Kathamndu. it is situated in the south of Nepal along the Indian border in the plains (Terai). It is home to 600 different species of birds and 100 different species of mammals including the endangered One-Horned Rhino, the Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial a species of Crocodile.
  • Day 03 Chitwan Jungle Activities

    • Jolt along atop your own elephant to search for one horned-Rhino, Gharial crocodiles, four-horned antelopes, striped hyenas, and the Gangetic Dolphins, Swamp deer, Musk, Deer, Black buck, blue bull, the Royal Bengal tiger, and hundreds of different animals and birds.
      (Jungle activities include bird watching, nature walks, a cultural program, and a slideshow presentation, canoeing, and a visit to the elephant breeding centre.)
  • Day 04 Chitwan National Park to Pokhara - Drive to Pokhara 134 kms.

    • Drive to Pokhara (approximately 4 hrs). The drive takes you through beautifully landscaped villages and terraced rice fields. Pokhara valley is one of the most picturesque spots of Nepal, with its stunning lake set against the backdrop of the majestic snow-topped Annapurna Mountain range.
      Walk to Fewa Lake and enjoy a one hour boat ride and then take time to stroll around the colorful lakeside shops and restaurants.
      Evening: Village Theme Dinner. This theme is used to portray the typical Nepal culture. The rich tradition, culture and Nepali cuisine are the main features. The whole area of the theme dinner is decorated with traditional thatched roofs. Food is served in the typical Nepali dishes called 'tasala'. The serving staff is clad in their finest Nepali attire to provide a typical ethnic look. The lights are turned into lanterns used in primitive times. Overnight at Hotel
  • Day 05 Trekking - Camping at Thulokot

    • Drive to Budhibazar 12kms from the hotel and start the trek. Commence trekking to Thulokot. We slowly start a flat walk around 45 minutes and then a gradual uphill walk for around 2 hours to reach Thulokot. En-route visit a typical Nepalese village called Archale where you can see the lifestyle of the different ethnic groups of the hilly regions. Upon arrival at the campsite, welcome with hot towels/tea-coffee/Pakoda and Biscuits. Installation in the tents and have hot lunch.
      Rest of the day explore the surrounding village or relax with the splendid view of snowcapped mountains: Annapurna, Mansalu, Dhaulagiri (weather permitting) and birds-eye-view of Fewa Lake. Overnight at Deluxe Tented Camp.
  • Day 06 Pokhara to Kathmandu Drive back to Kathmandu 6 hrs by bus 200 kms

    • After a leisurely breakfast, trek down towards Begnas Lake. It is a downhill walk for around 1 hr and another 1 and ½ hours flat walk to reach Begnas Lake. Enroute visit a typical Magar village called Lamaswara where you can see the ethnic Magar lifestyle. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
      Evening visit Siddhartha Art Gallery:
      Sangeeta Thapa and Internationally recognized artist, Shashikala Tiwari, Established Siddhartha Art Gallery on September the 27th, 1987 as a contemporary art space and meeting point for artists from Nepal and abroad. In 1997, the Gallery relocated to the magnificent Baber Mahal Revisited complex. The gallery has been active in the promotion of contemporary Nepalese art and has strived to introduce international prospective in art, to the Kathmandu community. Over the years artists from across India, Pakistan, Netherlands, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan, South Africa, Mauritius, Taiwan, China, Jordan, Canada, France, Austria, Australia, Finland, Aruba, Curacao, Cuba, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Japan, China along with the Autonomous Region of Tibet, Korea, Belgium, Germany , The United Kingdom and the United states have held their exhibitions at the Gallery.
  • Day 07 The Last Resort - 3 hrs Drive

    • After breakfast we drive to the Last Resort. Upon arrival you will be briefed about your activities at the resort. The entire day will be devoted to various activities designed to help participants explore communication skills, leadership roles and group dynamics, while exploring and experiencing a variety of cultures from this very beautiful wilderness area. Overnight at a tented camp.
      The Last Resort: The Last Resort was founded in 1999. After scouting the Nepal-Tibet border area intensively for the perfect place to build an adventure resort, the present location, on top of the steep Bhote Koshi River gorge, was finally chosen because of the almost unlimited possibilities for many kinds of adventure sports and its tremendous natural beauty. The Resort offers various team building activities and adventure sports owing to its unique location.
  • Day 08 The Last Resort Team Building games

    • Today, you get to enjoy various adventuring activities like High Ropes, Rock Climbing, and Abseil, which are very challenging sports. Through these activities you get to test your own strength and confidence. A great deal of fun can also be achieved by participating in these activities. Then, after the long day of various activities you will get to relax inside a Sauna. Overnight at the Camp.

      A high wire forest adventure that challenges your personal boundaries, encourages team work and helps in strengthening your confidence.
      It is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber’s strength, endurance, ability and balance along with his/her mental control.
      It is a controlled descent down a rock face using a rope. This technique is used when a cliff or slope is too steep. Abseiling helps one endure a great level of steadiness and control over one’s body. It is one of the best adventuring activities.

  • Day 09 To Kathmandu

    • Breakfast at the resort and then depart for rafting. The river Bhote Koshi, tumbling from the snow-capped peaks of Tibet, provides some of the most exiting rafting and kayaking in Nepal, and is quite possibly one of the best short river trips offered anywhere in the world. The rafting will last for about 5 hrs with a lunch break by the riverside, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery . The rafts stop at a finish point and from there a private vehicle will transfer you back to Kathmandu.
      En-route visit Bhaktapur's Durbar Square. Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaon city, is the home of medieval art and architecture. This city, shaped like a conch-shell, covers an area of 4 square miles. Bhaktapur means “the city of devotees”. Pottery and weaving are the traditional industries. This Durbar Square has innumerable temples and architectural showpieces like the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the picture gallery, the Golden Gate, the Palace of 55 Windows, the Batsala Temple, the Bell of Barking Dogs and a replica of Pashupatinath Temple.   • Day 10 Student Interaction / Final Departure

    • After Breakfast, we drive to Rato Bangla School. The learning process can be improved during the interaction processes between students. This interaction program focuses on the role of student’s experience in small group interactions in learning. The students will be invited over to the Rato Bangla School, which is one of the noted schools in Kathmandu. They will be asked to interact with the students at the school and teachers. A small basketball contest will be organized between the students of both the schools. After a friendly basketball match, we will directly drive to the airport to catch the flight home.
